Kennedy Meadows – September Club Ride. Sept 22nd-24th

NEW UPDATED information (as of Sept 4th)

Our annual Summer club ride date has been rescheduled to Sept 22nd-24th. Join us this year at Troy Meadows camp ground. John Wiltsey will be leading rides and making sure everybody finds each other at the campsite. A Sunday morning devotion and pancake breakfast will also take place.

From Hyw 395 near Pearsonville, take 9 Mile canyon up the grade for 23 miles to the general store. Last stop here for food, ice and cold drinks. Continue for 10-11 miles and look for Troy Meadow Campground.

There is room for small trailers, tents, box trailers and such. Large trailers and or large motorhomes may find this trip difficult. Weather will be great for camping out doors, most riders will be in trucks and tents.

This is mostly single track riding, there is very little riding for quads or side by sides. Trails are challenging to difficult. Recommended for intermediate to advanced rider skill level. Camping is at 7500 ft above sea level in the pines. Green or red sticker is required. Spark arrestors are mandatory.
From the 395 turn off….to camp is 48.7 miles and can take 2 + hours to travel due to the mountain roads.

For additional ride information email ruts@ruts.org or call John @ (626) 641-1968

May Club Ride – Cougar Buttes

May 19th-21st

Join us at Cougar Buttes in Johnson Valley, to ride, camp and play in the rocks! If you have NOT been to the Buttes before, there are LOTS of trails to explore and NOBODY know the trails at the Buttes better then RUTS. For 26 years, RUTS has camped and raced in the BUTTES. We will camp in the traditional RUTS camping area of Cougar Buttes, possibly where we used to have the KIDS race.
See MAP link below for driving directions.

For our NEWER families:
Some of our annual rides have larger turnouts, organized trail rides with maps, bible studies or Sunday morning church in the dez….and some camp trips are a less organized gathering of friends in the desert to ride, camp and fellowship. This weekends ride may look more like a loose gathering of friends in a fun and familiar part of the desert. Come and make some new friends. There may be less families then the 28 families we had last month at Dove Springs, but it will be fun no matter what. Click here for our FULL ride schedule.
