CANCELLED Kennedy Meadows, July 21st-23rd Mohogany Campground

**We are sorry to say that we don’t have a Trail-boss for this weekends. ride, so we will have to cancel the ride. You are of course welcome to go and have a blast, but we won’t have an official RUTS camp this year. Sorry. Our next ride, (which we. promise won’t be cancelled) is in Sept.**

John Wiltsey will be heading up to Kennedy Meadows to get the campsite marked in on Thursday @ 10am

🚨🚨This weekends Kennedy Meadows Ride🚨🚨

Mahogany Campground, (in between Fish creek 🎣and Troy creek) , 2nd choice for camping in case Mohogany is not available is Fish Creek Overflow campground. Troy overflow campground is closed. Signs posted says “no potable water” as they have yet to test it l, but it looks and smells fine 😁 but be aware. John Wiltsey plans on driving up 🚙Thursday morning and arrive by 10am. Look for the RUTS flag.

Directions: From the East-turn west from Hwy. 395 at the Kennedy Meadows turnoff (9 Mile Canyon). Go 35 miles to Fish Overflow campground on RIGHT, go PAST Fish creek campground to Mohogany Group Campsite on left exactly 3/4 miles further down the road, If RUTS is not at Mohogany, go BACK to Fish Creek overflow.

From the West- from Kernville north to the Sherman Pass Road to the Forest Service Blackrock Information Station. Then go south East on Sherman Pass Road. Troy Creek Campground will be on the LEFT, Mohagonay camp will be on the RIGHT, 1 mile down road, then finally, Fish Creek Overflow will be on the LEFT, 3/4 of a mile past Mohogany.
