Kennedy Meadows 2013

July RUTS Club ride.  Monache Meadows group camp area.

Directions: From the East-turn west from Hwy. 395 at the Kennedy Meadows turnoff (9 Mile Canyon)  and follow signs to the Forest Service Information Station at Blackrock. From the West- from Kernville north to the Sherman Pass Road to the Forest Service Blackrock Information Station.

Then up the road (north) 3.3 mi. and turn right at the Monache Jeep Road sign. From here it’s 3.5 miles to the Monache turnoff. LOOK FOR RUTS arrows! Alternate camp location will be Troy Creek Overflow Campground. Look for signs on the way in, you will pass Troy Creek before you get to Monache Meadows Camp area. Monache Meadows camp area provides a great 10 mile (round trip) ride for kids, wives, quads and beginners to the Monache Meadows / Kern River crossing.

Check the message board or the facebook page right before you drive up for an update on the camp area.

Meltdown 26

Racers Under the Son presents our 26th annual Dual European Meltdown race. Join us in Johnson Valley, June 8th and 9th for the best race on the D37 calendar (at least we think so!). Our family friendly race includes beginner friendly terrain, a kids race, race tee shirts, finisher pins, a fun spectator area, dual course start format,  a FREE Saturday night BBQ, an awesome raffle that is second to none and much much more!
