Rich is a real cool guy who is at almost every event - he races some too, but the D-37 refs kicked him out of racing for winning to much - unfair advantage stuff. You see Jason Stevens, his son and computer genius, and Jerry Neal, a rocket scientist at NASA, together in their garage built the ultimate jetison rocket bike, 4 stroke that is. Right after the banner drops Rich would lift off and fly to the first check, this manuver was not in the rule book, so it worked for 2 years until Sonny Harris got his hair burned off by the rocket assist. Rich is sometimes our pit wrench now. I'd watch him closely however when he fills you tank, if he drops a few pellets in with your gas.......
