Mike Tarter

This is the guy who started RUTS.  

Sadly on July 31, 2000 Mike was killed in an industrial accident. We will all miss him very much!

Mike was looking for Christian buddies to ride with in 1983. He decided to put an add in Cycle News to see if there were any other Christians looking for the same thing. Today there are over 200 individuals and families in the club.

Here is Mike in 1984 at the Parker 400. Mike was on the Honda support team. Three wheelers were once sold and operated in the U.S.

Here is Mike at the 1996 Elsinore G.P. He placed 5th out of 55 riders in the Senior Amatuer Class. He had a love for bikes and a desire for reaching out with the message of Christ's forgiveness and healing.
