GOD & DIRT BIKES ?

If you are wondering why we formed a club like R.U.T.S.,

it's because we want to

1) provide an environment for Christian fellowship in

the context of dirt bike racing and recreation,

2) communicate God's love and plan for mankind clearly

to the desert racing community of District 37.

This is not about religion (sinful man's attempt to

reach a holy God) but it's about relationship (Holy God

reaching down to humanity living in sin). According to

the Bible; you and me can do nothing to impress God or

gain His Favor or Forgiveness. God has chosen to love

us unconditionally -- He chooses to love us as we are;

PERIOD!

God has expressed His Love to us through the gift of

His Son Jesus Christ. A gift is always given it cannot

be earned, then it would become a reward or payment.

Because you and I are sinful (we broke God's law) we

cannot be in relation with God. We can be forgiven of

our sin (disobedience) and thus enter into relationship

with God when we believe that Jesus Christ died on the

cross, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven.

Think about it, you and I can have the eternal, unlimited

Creator of all; who cannot be contained or explained

completely, dwell in our inmost being. He knows us better

than we know ourselves. We can know Him by faith in Christ.

Let me illustrate, when you buy a new scoot it works fairly

well. But, if you set the rear sag, and have the front

forks and rear shock dialed to your weight and skill level,

the bike performs better and allows you to take whoops,

jumps, rocks, berms, etc. with more control, stability,

and speed. Likewise, you can live your life fairly well

without a relationship with God, but if you really want

to live complete and fulfilled you must admit you sin,

ask Him to forgive your sin and trust Him to work in

and through you.

Get dialed in on real life and accept Christ as your

personal savior from sin and judgment. Then you can take

on life's obstacles with God's help and smooth out some

of the rough stuff.

If you want more information or have questions we will

try and provide both to the best of our ability. If you

want to accept Christ now; just pray (talk to God) and

ask Him to forgive your sin and be the Lord of your life.
