This is the guy who runs the #1 Vet Open Expert plate in District 37 Desert Racing. Abe is also one of the earliest founders of RUTS. In the early 80's Abe was riding his bike around El Toro Ca. on the railroad tracks and in constuction lots around the area - all those places are covered in fences and concrete now. Abe moved his focus to Desert Racing in '84 and met Mike Tarter on a ride in Bean Canyon near Lancaster, Ca.
Here is Abe #1 Vet Open Expert in 1996 & 1997. Abe also held Open Class plates with numbers between #3 & #12 for 6 different years. That's a lot of wins!
Abe was busy this year:
#1 Vet Open Desert Division 1997.
#1 Vet Open Best Of The West Series 1997.
#1 Vet Open Gran Prix Division 1997.
