The Viewfinders put on a top notch race in Ridgecrest October 6th and 7th. The weather was perfect; it was in the mid to high 80’s and there was a slight breeze to blow the dust away. Not that there was much dust, because the Viewfinders kept the vast majority of the track nice and damp. It made for a great weekend of racing,
The course was about 10 miles long and had huge jumps, gnarly obstacles and mud holes. The racers loved it! RUTS member Ken Boyenga raced in the GP on Saturday and finished 7th in his class. Great job Ken! RUTS had four members there to help him and anyone else that needed assistance in the pits. Don Rager was the Pit Captain along with his wife Karen, Jyl Phillips and I, Andrew Phillips.
Thank you Viewfinders for such a great event!
